There has been rumours circulating the internet about "Dami duro" singer Davido getting slapped by an angry police officer in Abuja.
The gist is that, he was coming back from the recently concluded Nokia Rap Battle show, when mobile police officers stopped the car conveying him for routine checkup.
Davido apparently jumped out of the car and started ranting "Don't you know who i am?" and one of the already pissed off officers who couldn't give a hoot about who he was slapped him. OUCH!!
Gucci has announced actress Blake Lively (popularly known for her role in gossip girl as Serena van der Woodsen) to be the new face of Gucci Premiere, the fashion house's newest fragrance for women.
Lively joins fellow actors Evan Rachel Wood, Chris Evans and James Franco in representing Gucci's fragrances. Gucci Premiere will be launched worldwide in July 2012.

KANO (AFP) – Attackers with guns and explosives raided a jail in a restive northeastern city on Sunday, leaving four prison guards dead and freeing 40 inmates, authorities said.
The raid occurred in the northeastern , previously hit by heavy violence blamed on Islamist group Boko Haram and which last week saw gun battles between security forces and extremists that killed at least 40 people.

Bombs rocked three churches in neighbouring cities of Kaduna and Zaria Sunday morning. Vanguard gathered that three cordinated attacks took place in the cities around 9:00am targetted at three churches.
One of the suicide bombers was said to have attacked the children wing of ECWA church, Wusasa, Zaria killing the Sunday School teacher and ten children, according to an eyewitness who spoke to Vanguard on phone.
Christ the King Catholic Church, Sabon Gari Zaria was also attacked by a lone suicide bomber leaving 15 people dead. At Shalom Pentecostal Church, Trikani, Kaduna five people were killed after another suicide bomber crashed through the church gate, said an eyewitness.
However, there were spontaneous reprisal attacks at Trikania, Sabo, Televison,Ungwa romi, Gonin Gora and Maraban Rido areas of Kaduna by youths.
Already, a 24-hour curfew has been imposed by the state governor.

So we all (well most of us) heard about 31 year old Eugene who stripped himself naked and ate the face of Ronal poppo, 65, on saturday. Police and doctors in miami believe he was under the influence of some illegal drugs (bath salt), which has not been confirmed yet. Police shot and killed Eugene when he refused to stop eating poppo's face. there has been controversies on whether or not the world is coming to an end/ zombie apocalypse or it's all just the effects of these "illegal drugs".
The end of times has been yelled long enough and even played in movies like apocalypse 2012. It has also been predicted that the world will end in December 2012 and i keep saying to myself "we are not GOD, so we can't predict when the world will end" but honestly, all these strange things happening all around us keeps me pondering. I mean people eating other people in the past two weeks? is beef that scarce in the market now? Anyway, here's a list of a few cases lately:
1) Eugene, 31, who ate 75% of poppo's face, 65.
2) Porn star (male) here in Canada stabs boyfriend while recording, eats him and mails part of the body to some politicians.
3) Wayne carter, 43, stabs himself repeatedly and throws his own intestine at cops (psychotic already)
4) Man splits his own head open and spits blood on cops.
5) Boyfriend bites girlfriend's lips off.
6) 33-year-old mother from texas dismembered her 3week old infant with a knife and two swords and ate part of his brain and later claimed that the devil told her to do it. (link)
7) Kenyan man in Maryland kills and eats Ghanaian's brain and heart.
Hmmmm.... some of these cannibalistic acts have been blamed on the use of bath salt although it has not been confirmed. The most despicable story so far to me is wayne carter,43, who on the 8th of june, threatened to kill himself and eventually stabbed himself repeatedly and threw his own intestines at the police. Wow!! bizarre things. jeez!!
My own question now is do you all think the world is ending soon? Or should these drugs be blamed? Or all these things happening randomly?

BREAKING NEWS: A plane belonging to DANA AIRLINES crashed at iju/ishaga area of lagos a few minutes ago. the plane was carrying 152 passengers and was coming from abuja. Eye withnesses say the plane crashed into houses and human beings are burning at the scene of the crash.
So sad what the world has turned to, a plane crashed and all we see is people snapping like they'd just seen a celebrity, no fire fighter or sign of help, even the guy with he's phone that looks like NOKIA 3310 is taking pictures when people are burning alive. so sad!! please render help if you can. UPDATE: There were no survivors, really sad day for Nigeria. My heart goes out to the families of the passengers that lost their lives today because i understand how it feels to lose a loved one. i pray God welcomes them with open arms. AMEN.
